This is a model of a viking barrier that is made out from three different types of wood. It's main purpose is to stop or slow down an incoming enemy from rushing into the village. There was usually a couple of these barriers prior to entering the village. Four thick sharp wooden logs are sticking out from the barrier, and they are also used to keep the barrier standing.
